About this file
This document is a Wage Determination for construction projects in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. It outlines the minimum prevailing wage rates for various labor classifications required for building erection, foundation excavation, and sewage treatment plant projects. The wage determination covers a range of trades including asbestos workers, boilermakers, bricklayers, carpenters, electricians, elevator mechanics, iron workers, laborers, landscapers, painters, plumbers, roofers, sheet metal workers, and truck drivers. The document provides the applicable wage rates for each classification, along with details on fringe benefits, overtime pay, executive order requirements, and procedures for filing wage determination appeals. A related federal contract opportunity is also provided, which is a solicitation for the installation of an electrical panel and receptacles at the Pittsburgh 911th Airlift Wing facility. This is a small business set-aside with a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable award basis, and the contractor must meet requirements for start date, technical capability, and price.
