About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity (FA6675-26-Q-0002 B1710) related to office refurbishment work. The document does not establish pricing terms, response dates, award dates, or set-asides, but rather clarifies the scope and requirements for contractors bidding on the project.
The refurbishment work encompasses multiple offices and common areas, including sheetrock repairs (1" thickness, metal framing required), carpet replacement with cove base in specified closets, interior and ceiling painting using roller/brush application only (no spray), door frame removal and closure, and installation of a 12" x 12" access panel for a shut-off valve in Room 1008. Contractors may work on 3-4 offices simultaneously with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 0730-1600, subject to facility occupant approval for any outside-hours work. Room 1008 serves as the designated lay-down area and storage location once old furniture is removed. Contractors must remove all red-tape items and place them in their own dumpster/roll-off. Floor adhesive removal is not required, and floating floors are not required. The document confirms no asbestos survey has been completed, carpet substitutions require government approval with supporting documentation and samples, and subcontractors must register for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance per 32 CFR 170.23 and referenced RFO clauses 252.204-7025 and 252.204-7021.
