About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA6670-26-B-0002, issued on 19 May 2026, regarding the repair of Air Handling Unit (AHU) B707 under solicitation RVKQ 26-0005.
The document addresses two contractor inquiries related to the repair project. The first question requests identification of indoor cooling units (CCU) installed on raised work platforms. The answer provides specific equipment details: CCU1 is a Dunham Bush model HCS08MA9234901 with serial number 9234901A97J, and CCU2 is a Dunham Bush model HCS08MA9234902 with serial number 9234902A97J. The second question concerns a glycol feed tank that was observed during a site walkthrough, which is currently non-operational and asks whether the contractor scope includes system draining, flushing, and glycol addition. The answer clarifies that no glycol is present in the system, the glycol feed tank is not operational, and contractors are explicitly prohibited from adding glycol to the system. The answer specifies that the base will be responsible for adding glycol at a later date.
