This document contains correspondence regarding an amendment to a federal contract solicitation for maintenance and repair of car lifts at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. The solicitation, issued by the Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa, seeks maintenance and safety inspections of 111 car lift units on a recurring basis. Per the updated statement of work, electrical safety inspections in accordance with German DGUV-V3 regulations will be required in the base contract year and every fourth subsequent contract year for the life of the award. Bidders should incorporate the costs for performing these inspections into their pricing proposals as they will be mandatory contract requirements.

But we have also another question regarding the German regulation DGUV.

There is listed at PWS under point 1.8 "applicable guidances" the DGUV regulation, but all electrical running systems in Germany have to have at minimum all 4 (four) years the electrical safety checks each by each and also dedicated reporting each by each their results as dedicated reports.

There is unclear if has to perform this "electrical safety check DGUV-V3" also here at this 111 each units all 4 (four) or every 1 (one) year.

Could you please update this too inner beta-sam urgend ? So everyone know what is to do here at this electrical operated unit, check or not checks are included inner the pricings ?

Please confirm if you could receive our mail, then some times mails are getting loose however.

Answer:

Yes it will be part of the contract. Please see updated paragraph 1.3 within the PWS revision 2 Feb 21. The inspection - DGUV-V3 shall be done in the base contract year (with the 1st maintenance and safety inspection) and in the fours contract year.
