2. Mr. Rondinella welcomed everybody and explained the project to replace Interior and Exterior Lights with Electrical Panel in Bldg. 236.
3. First, the replacement of the exterior lights on the outside of the building were inspected and the disconnection and removal of the flood lights was explained. Only the lights with pole need to be removed and disposed, not the base.
4. The question was asked, if there is really a need for 12 X 2 LED lights for only four small garages. Answer: Yes, each Garage should be equipped with 3 lamps x 2 LED’s, one on the left, one to be installed on the right and one in the middle, including wiring.
5. All other areas/offices, such as on the plan, were inspected. It was explained by Mr. Weber and Mr. Rondinella/CE, that only the complete wiring for the new lamps needs to be replaced. Four (4) Operating points and three (3) switching groups are available It is up to the contractor, if he uses buttons or switches for the interior lights,
6. The installation of the new main distribution panel was discussed. It needs to be completely replaced with a new one. Concerns have been expressed, that there might be not enaugh space available for a larger floor mounted cabinet.
Solution: Wall mounted case and cabinets will be moved to the right site by CE personnel. Also contractor should use a higher socket of 20 cm instead 10 cm for the larger floor-mounted main electric distribution panel (floor mounted cabinet).
Mr. Weber explained, that all hanging/drooping lines/stripes in the back distribution room shall be corrected. All other wiring of the interior lighting in the rear distribution room should be combined in a new cable stage. All other wires will be placed in a new empty pipe by contractor.
Question came up, if voltage needs to be seperated. Answer: Yes, within the distribution panel cabinet.
A copy of the current legend handed out to contractors, to give them an idea of the current distribution and quantities of fuses and switches. No other blue prints of the previous electrical installation exist anymore.
At the end of the site visit Mr. Gasper/CE brought up again, if not the whole desoloate wiring in the building could be replaced. The answer was: No, only the interior and exterior lighting with the necessary cabeling will be replaced. There are not enough funds available at the moment to cover such a big project. Will be handled next time.
7. Since there were no further questions from the participants, site visit ended at 11:00 h on Thursday, 13 Aug 2015.
8. This document will be posted on FBO together with the legend of the distribution panel.
