About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for the 48 LRS (Logistics Readiness Squadron) Ground Transportation Passenger Bus procurement. The document addresses two key clarifications regarding vehicle specifications and design requirements.
The first Q&A confirms that a front/cab demister and rear/saloon air chill system are acceptable alternatives to the originally specified front and rear air conditioning/heating systems. The second Q&A clarifies that a wheelchair bay on the nearside of the vehicle is not required, and the procuring activity has authorized the use of that space for luggage racking to maximize luggage capacity. This Q&A document does not contain information about pricing, response dates, award dates, or other standard procurement terms, as it serves only to clarify technical specifications and design flexibility for the passenger bus requirement.
