1. Question Do you require a tack board, and worksurface binder storage as noted on the drawing? If, yes is this binder storage suspended from the Slatwall or sitting on the work surface? And is the tack board to be the operator side or the rear side?
Tack board is not required. If space is available provide worksurface binder storage solution on console.
1. Question - Do you have a CAD file or drawing with room dimensions?
We don not have a CAD drawing or room dimensions currently.
1. Question - Do you want a fixed height worksurface or sit-stand worksurface at each work space?
Sit-stand at each workspace.
1. Reference Section g - The peninsula section with desktop area of same material to desks, with no shelving beneath desk area, see attached drawings for control work spaces. Effortless integration of two 18”x18”19” GSA safes beneath the peninsula.
Question – In the sketch below confirm if the noted section is the ‘peninsula’ Peninsula located here. Safe depicted under console furniture.
1. Reference Section j - Each desktop must have slat-wall of at least 14 inches height on desk sections with enough area to be capable of mounting a minimum of four 24 inch monitors via adjustable monitor arms, Unify compatible Question – There is not enough space for 4 – 24” screens side by side at each work space. Can they be positioned in a quad format 2 – double high? Or a 2 single and 1 double high configuration? Yes, an array 4 screens mounted in a quad is acceptable.
What do you mean by Unify Compatible? Console furniture must integrate with our Unify communication system.
1. Reference Section m - Each station must have two CPU cradles enclosed in the lower cabinet section on opposing sides ensuring minimum separation requirements (18” minimum) between classified and unclassified systems, while allowing easy access to front of each CPU.
Questions – What size are the CPUs?
The CPU tower ranges between 15 - 22 inches tall and 6-10 inches in width.
1. Reference Section n - Desktop power outlets (US and UK sockets Questions – How many power outlets do you require of each type per operator position? Do you require any USB-A or USB-C Charging (UK and/or US)?
Our standard is to provide power bars within the console Do you require power bars within the lower cabinet of the console? If yes, do you require 110/220V or both? How many of each?
Console furniture does not require USB charging. Power bars are not required within the lower cabinet.
1. Question Do you want the Secondary Console to be the same construction and finishes as the Primary console built for 24/7 use etc.?
Yes, all consoles will be of the same construction and finishes.
1. A vendor is asking about shipping to a consolidated point which was available in the version of the SOO we had posted with the sources sought (It was section 4.3.2.3). It looks like that section was removed in the most recent iteration of the SOO. Is this still a possibility for vendors?
Shipping to a consolidated shipping point is not an option.
1. The SOO indicates the Technical submission should be no more than 20 pages. The drawing package alone is 10 pages. While we can condense the cover letter, technical description and drawings to 20 pages it will not include any cut sheets, detailed specifications, or references.
Yes, longer than 20 pages is alright, just do whatever you think is reasonable.
1. Can we submit a third submittal package including the product brochures, cut sheets, etc?
See above for the length, just be reasonable.
