Kadena AB has a requirement to provide corrosion control, prevention and repair services for Aerospace Ground Equipment and Munitions Material Handling Equipment.

Purpose of this event is to receive suggestions and answer questions from contractors to better align our opportunity with industry practices.

We appreciate your comments, questions, and any suggestions to increase your desire to possibly work with us in future.

Introduction

Requirements Overview 業務要件について

This requirement is to provide refurbishing of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE) for the 18th Wing, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan through corrosion control, repair and prevention

The contractor will supply all required equipment, consumables, PPE, and hazardous material items outlined in technical orders to accomplish work and appropriately dispose of generated hazardous waste. The contractor will be responsible for providing all transportation required of SE.

The contractor shall provide:

The contractor shall perform inspections, structural repairs, corrosion treatment and painting of SE to refurbish the SE and eliminate damage from corrosion.

The contractor shall perform wash and lubrication.

Apply approved CPC semi-annually

The contractor shall refurbish no less than 260 AGE units and 34 Munitions Trailers for a total of 294 assets yearly to eliminate, control, treat and prevent corrosion
