QUESTIONS &ANSWERS RFQ: FA5270-15-R-0004

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 23 Jun 15 For

Solicitation Number: FA5270-15-R-0004 Army Grounds Maintenance, Various Army Facilities, Okinawa, Japan

1. It will be difficult to fill up the blocks 19-24 of SF1449 because the space is not enough big to put all of the information corresponding to the page 3 thru page 17. Should we put only the information, item0001 and 0002 (Basic Year)?

You do not need to fill out Block 19-24. Fill out “unit price” and “amount” on pages 3-17 of the solicitation.

2. Do you require to submit spreadcheet by using EXCEL when we submit price proposal? If it is so, would you provide the form, excel format?

No, we will NOT require Excel Spreadsheet for submission of price proposal for all Contractors.

Once we award this contract to one (1) Contractor, we will have that Contractor fill out the Excel spreadsheet to prevent wasting time.

3. When we submit the proposal, it is stated to submit by using three ring loose-leaf binders. In Japan, it will be difficult to find three ring binders. We would like to ask you to allow use of two

(2) ring binders. Would this be acceptable.

Yes, you may turn the documents via use of two (2) ring binders.

4. (pages 3-7). Might (pages 3-17) be correct?

Yes, pages 3-17 is correct.

5. (Attachments 2 & 6). Can not find Attachment 6.

On FBO, Attachment 6 (Cover Letter for PPQs) is attached as the first page of Attachment 2 (PPQ Questionnaire). Do not worry about submitting a separate Attachment 6.

6. What does “Miscellaneous Data” entail to? Could you elaborate?

Miscellaneous Data pertains to filling out information listed under Page 22 Section B.1. For example, completing the necessary fill-ins. It’s just wording so do not focus too much on it.

7. Should “CLIN Extended Amount x 6” be included in SF1449- CONTINUATION SHEET? If so, where should it be put in SF1449- CONTINUATION SHEET?

QUESTIONS &ANSWERS RFQ: FA5270-15-R-0004

No, this does NOT have to be included. It is just showing how the Government will calculate.

8. Can we have yards to store vehicles and fuel somewhere in Torii, White Beach, and Camp Courtney?

Fuel cannot be stored on any facilities under this contract. The Contractor can storage grass cutting trucks ONLY at Torii Station with the condition that the contractor have to provide "one

(1) container" to storage their trucks. There is space for one container at Torii Station.
