(Page 5 of 47/ CLIN DELIVERY/ TASK ORDER MINIMUM/ MAXIMUM QUANTITY
AND CLIN ORDER VALUE)
Is it possible for you to provide us with an example or description of what to enter for MINIMUM QUANTITY and MAXIMUM QUANTITY? If this is permitted could you please elaborate?
Government Response:
Offeror is not required to fill in the referenced portion of the 1449. Order minimums and maximums are addressed on page 21 of the Performance Work Statement.
(Attachment 3 Performance Work Statement page 8 of 30 (1.2)) Do we need to supply protection such as packing material and protective covering for a general cargo delivery? Will we be delivering cargo that is similar to our day to day operations?
Government Response:
Differences between a general cargo delivery and day to day delivery Are:
A day to day delivery is categorized by combination of classes (number of pieces) and zones. New and serviceable mattresses and box springs require protections (plastic bags) for both deliveries and pick up services. Plastic bags are already on the new/serviceable mattresses/box springs when they leave the warehouse(s). Contractors can re-use those plastic bags from the warehouse(s) when they pick up new/serviceable mattresses if plastic bags are still in good condition. If they are not in good condition, Contractor has to provide their own protection (plastic bags).
A general cargo delivery is not categorized by classes and zones. It is a per 4 ton truck load delivery/pick up between Kadena AB Dorms/warehouses and Camp Kinser DRMO/Kinser warehouse or between Camp Kinser DRMO/Kinser warehouse.
A general cargo delivery is either furniture going to DRMO (disposal or recycle) or furniture picked up From Chibana/Kinser warehouse and deliver to Kinser/Chibana warehouse. Both DRMO and warehouse to warehouse moves do not require plastic bags but protection (blankets) will be needed for warehouse to warehouse moves when items are wood furniture.
(Attachment 3 PWS page 7 part 1.1.4.4.2) Is the Identification and Condition Verifier the same individual as the COR?
Government Response:
Identification and Condition Verifiers are not the same as the COR. FMO warehouse has 8 Identification and condition Verifiers. 6 individuals are on Chibana, 2 are on Kinser. Their main responsibility is accountabilities of furnishings. They accompany contractors to on/off base quarters for every delivery and pickup. They talk to customers and inventory furniture and issue No Show letters and discrepancy reports.
(Attachment 3 Performance Work Statement page 11 of 30 (4.1.1)) Do we need to include our Quality Control Plan within our Technical Proposal?
Government Response:
Quality Control Plan is not required as part of your proposal. Your Technical Proposal should include your Staffing Plan.
(Attachment 1 Price Exhibit Page 3 of 8) What is the difference between a WAREHOUSE TO DRMO in A036 and a WAREHOUSE TO DRMO MOVES in A037?
A036 is between Chibana Warehouse and Kinser DRMO/warehouse; A037 is between Kinser warehouse (on Camp Kinser) and DRMO.
(Standard form 1449 page 1 blocks 23 and 24) In block 23 how many unit prices do we need to enter? In block 24 do we enter our total estimated price?
Government Response:

(Page 9 of 47 (Part III b)) May we include pictures?
