Statement of Work 09 (SOW) June 2023 - Attachment 3 Floor Plan B18004 with notes.
The floor plan drawing of B18004 is not clear. Please provide the clear copy of drawings.
Refer to Solicitation Amendment FA524023R00280003.
2 During the site visit, we could not access B18009.
Please provide required pictures of B18009.
Refer to Solicitation Amendment FA524023R00280003.
3 During the site visit, we noticed that there is a diesel tank behind B18009, please confirm if it is connected to B18009.
It is not connected.
4 Please provide the existing electrical As Built drawings of B18004. Refer to Solicitation Amendment FA524023R00280003.
During the site visit, we found that all roll-up doors in B18004 are motorized roll up doors. But in scope of work under (SOW) 2.3.3 REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION WORK, there are 2 different scopes as follows:
a. Provide and install new roll up doors, door frames and hardware’s
b. Provide and install new motorized roll up doors, sensors, controls with manual chain, metal covers and seals Please confirm all roll-up doors will be motorized roll-up doors, or if there are non-motorized roll up doors, please indicate which are not motorized roll-up doors.
All roll up doors are motorized.
During site visit, Panel-X in B18004 was closed with screws and we could not get the information about the breaker used for that panel.
On the Panel-X, it indicated “JUNCTION BOX ONLY, NO CB” and
“120/240 VOLTS SINGLE PHASE 3W”.
Please provide the proper requirements and information for the panel-X.
Panel X is no longer being used as a “panel”. It is currently a junction box with electrical wires going through it. The request was to replace the panel next to it and eliminate the panel X by removing it and relocating the electrical wires going through it.

No, we do not need to remove/replace conduits to paint.
B18004 - As per (SOW) “2.3.3 REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION WORK":
• Provide and install new conduits.
Please clarify if this requirement applies to the work required on the new roll-up doors only.
New conduits as needed, if corroded, broken, or requires replacement for all electrical equipment, not just roll-up doors.
B18004 - As per (SOW) “2.3.3 REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION WORK”:
• Provide required utilities: power if it affects the facilities and needs to be isolated. Coordinate with the facility manager, 36 Civil Engineering shops, Project manager and Engineering Tech and provide a updated schedule on how long it will be out. So that it does not impact the User.
On replacing panelboards with new, please advise what is the maximum allowed downtime (power outage) of any equipment.
Weekend only and after hours to maximize allowed downtime of any equipment. Provide a three week look ahead and a construction schedule that is approved by the user and the shop; so that the user and shop will know when the outage will occur.
B18004 - As per (SOW) “2.3.3 REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION WORK”:
• Provide and install new Amps, 120-volt, single phase branch circuit to support new electrical panels - ie,.. lights, switches and others.
Inclusive conduits, wires and accessories to complete the system that support the new electrical panels.
1) Please clarify what is the new “Amps” rating.
2) Please advise what type of load the new “Amps” rating will serve.
3) Please clarify if the intent of the “inclusive conduits, wires, and accessories.

2) If the existing Panel has no spare breaker, or no space provisions for future breakers; please advise if these will not be provided. If to be provided, please provide minimum quantities.
3) If there are existing panelboard branch circuit wiring installed but are not working, this project will identify these circuits, but will not repair/replace these circuit wiring. Please clarify.
The panel board should be a 1 for 1 replacement for the out of date panels being old and parts are no longer available

Provide a new disconnect 480v next to already existing disconnect. The intent is not to replace existing but to add additional disconnect. Some of the electrical panelboards have a fuse box that powers it, they should be replaced by panelboard with main breaker powering it to eliminate the fuse box.
B18004 - As per (SOW) “2.3.3 REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION WORK”:
• Ensure there is adequate sizing of equipment (panels, circuit breakers, fuses, conduits , cables and other hardware. Ensure that the electrical system is complete and usable.
