About this file
This document is a Requests For Information (RFI) log and response summary for a zipline demolition project. Eight RFIs were submitted and answered on July 1-3, 2026, addressing site conditions, technical specifications, access requirements, and project constraints.
Key project requirements include: site photos and zipline specifications (overall length, pole height, and pole size) were provided; the zipline is situated on artificial grass over impact-absorbing materials requiring repair to maintain a smooth, safe surface for children; support posts are embedded in concrete footings and may be cut below the turf surface without requiring anchor bolt removal; a base dig permit is required only if concrete footings are completely removed from the ground; contractor personnel must complete access request forms, provide Real ID copies, and pass background checks free of felonies to obtain access passes for the contract duration; the main playground areas must remain accessible throughout demolition with equipment staging confined to proximity of the zipline; and subcontracting is permitted. All RFI responses were dated July 3, 2026, with supporting photos and technical documentation attached to address contractor questions regarding site conditions, permitting, equipment access, and demolition methodology.

Turf appears to be artificial grass over impact absorbing materials. Picture provided. Want a relatively smooth surface that children can run on and possibly fall without major injury.
3-Jul-26
Contractor access passes will be provided for the term of the contract. All personnel requiring access will need to complete access request forms, provide copies of Real IDs, and pass a basic background check free of felonies.
3-Jul-26
If the proposal is to completely remove the concrete footings a base dig permit is required. If there is no digging into dirt, there should be no permit requirement.
3-Jul-26
We would like the main playgrounds to remain accessible during the demolition project. Staging should be within proximity to the zipline.
3-Jul-26
Yes 3-Jul-26 Support posts are embedded in concrete footings. It is acceptable to cut them below the turf and repair the turf to a safe condition
