ADDENDA TO FAR 52.212-1

Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items (April 2014)

QUOTATION PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

A. To assure timely and equitable evaluation of quotes, offerors must follow the instructions contained herein.

Offerors are required to meet all solicitation requirements, including terms and conditions, representations and certifications, and technical requirements, in addition to those identified as evaluation factors or subfactors.

Offerors must clearly identify any exception to the solicitation terms and conditions and provide complete accompanying rationale. The response shall consist of two (2) separate parts; Part I - Summary and Miscellaneous Data and Part II - Price.

B. Specific Instructions:

1. PART I – TECHNICAL ACCEPTABILITY Submit original only

(a) Submit one (1) copy of technical acceptability narrative in accordance with the statement of works.

2. PART II – PRICE - Submit original only

(a) Submit one (1) copy of price schedule and any pertinent additional information.

(b) Insert quoted unit prices and extended amounts in 1449 for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) , including all option periods. The extended amount must equal the unit price multiplied by the number of units. It is imperative that mathematical calculations are correct; particular care should be taken to ensure the amounts match when using a spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft EXCEL. The unit prices and extended amounts are limited to two decimal places.

(c) Extreme care should be exercised to ensure that no price data of any kind are included in any other Part of the quote.

SITE VISIT. A site visit will be conducted on 3 June 2019 at 0900hrs at the Central Heat and Power Plant (CHPP).

Please contact the before mentioned POC’s by 31 May 2019.

QUESTIONS. Questions are due to the Contract Specialist NLT 11 July 2019 at 2:00PM AKST. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING. No questions will be accepted over the telephone. Please email all questions to the Contract Specialist at megan.staller@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer at zachary.bowens@us.af.mil.
