Clarify Demo note 4. Room 110 especially has a huge piece of machinery that would be very difficult to work around 26-Apr-19

All machinery and equipment must remain and be protected from dust or other airborne materials generated during construction activities.

Keynote 5 - for room 111, Does this mean all equipment to remain in this room during construction? If so, what level of protection is required? 26-Apr-19

All machinery and equipment must remain. It shall be protected from dust and all other materials generated during construction activities. Contractor shall assume twice per week the Building User will inform the contractor of the need to make use of this machinery and equipment. Prior to that use the Contractor must clean the room of all dust and debris and remove the protective covering. Once the User is finished with the equipment the Contractor will again protect the machinery and equipment and continue with construction.

Contractor shall assume that they will receive a minimum of

24 hours notice from the Building User prior to needing access to Room 111.

Keynote 11 - Is it known how thick the existing slab that is to be demo’d is?

The slab was drilled during design and found to be approximately 6" thick. No other information about the composition of the slab is known.

Keynote 3 - Does this keynote include the corridor between rooms 109 & 111. What about the existing framing or suspension system? Is the intent of Keynote 2 on A600 a new suspension system? 27-Apr-19

Yes, keynote 3 applies to room 110 including the corridor.

Remove existing gypsum board, framing and suspension system. Provide new gypsum board and suspension system per keynote 2/A600.
