About this file

This document contains specifications for three Contract Line Items (CLINs) for utility work machines (Toolcats) required to support aircraft operations at a U.S. Air Force facility.

CLIN 0001 - FAB Toolcat and CLIN 0002 - PROPS Toolcat contain identical minimum specifications for multi-use utility work machines with snowplow, snow blower, and forklift capabilities. Required specifications include: minimum 60 horsepower engine, all-wheel steering, four-wheel drive, lugged tires, minimum 2,000 lbs cargo box capacity, minimum 4,000 lbs towing capacity, minimum 1,500 lbs rated lift arm capacity, hydraulic dump cargo box, minimum 3,000 PSI auxiliary hydraulic pressure, block heater and enclosed cab for cold weather operation, and standard road safety features (backup alarm, turn signals, flashers, taillights, brake lights, mirrors, horn, work lights, and headlights). The machines must be attachment-compatible with currently owned Bobcat Toolcat equipment including "V" plow blade, brush/broom fixture, 84" straight blade, and dozer blade, plus accommodate various snow removal and material handling equipment attachments. Attachment control and traction control are mandatory. CLIN 0001 is requested by the DAF Fabrication Flight Commander, and CLIN 0002 is requested by the USAF Propulsion Flight Chief.

CLIN 0003 - AGE Toolcat specifies similar core requirements but with additional features including capability to operate more than 45 attachments, receiver hitch for towing, engine block heater, local retailer/vendor support availability for parts and repairs, high flow/pressure hydraulics, tachometer, interior trim, radio option, and rear view camera. This CLIN is requested by the AGE Flight Commander.
