About this file
This memorandum from the 366th Fighter Wing Commander at Mountain Home Air Force Base authorizes mission essential contractor activities to continue in support of federal contract FA489720Q0029 for Furnishings Management services. The contract requires the contractor to provide Furnishings Management services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement dated June 1, 2020. The period of performance is one base year with four one-year option periods. The memorandum cites an order from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare directing all individuals to self-isolate at their place of residence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the order exempts activities that are essential to national security. The commander attests that performance of this furnishings management contract is critical to national security, and as such the contractor and employees are authorized to continue performance as an essential activity.
