SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) – OPTIMIZING THE HUMAN

WEAPON SYSTEM

1. The Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration

Center (AMIC) has an upcoming FY19 requirement that we are seeking information on:

• Optimizing the Human Weapon System

2. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for your review and consideration. The

Government reserves the right to adjust the PWS when the final solicitation is issued.

3. This RFI is distributed to conduct market research and constitutes only a request for sources, not an official Request for Proposals (RFP). This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Government is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense.

4. Interested prime contractors must complete Attachment 1 to verify that your company has the proficiency to provide the required support. You must also submit a capability statement which demonstrates your ability to meet the tasks described in the PWS. The capability statement cannot exceed 3 pages. We ask that you submit your responses, along with any questions or concerns related to this requirement, to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Mark Hohmann at mark.hohmann@us.af.mil and Contracting Manager, Ms. Latisha Ross at latisha.ross@us.af.mil. Electronic responses are required by 8 January 2018 at 1000 EST. No questions will be answered over the phone.
