QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
FA4890-11-R-0002
1. Who is currently doing this work?
Crew Training International, Inc.
2. Do you know how this may be released, i.e. 8(a) or Full and Open or SB?
The acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
3. The projected RFP release date is projected for 29 October 10. Is that date still look good? Approximately how much time will the offerors have for a proposal response?
As of today, the Government still anticipates issuing the RFP on or about 29 Oct 10. Offerors will be given at least 30 days response time.
4. Will there be an opportunity at the industry day for one-on-one meeting?
There is no industry day for this solicitation. We are having a pre-proposal conference. There will be NO one-on-one meetings at the pre-proposal conference. Contractors need to submit any questions in writing via email to the POC(s) stated in the solicitation. Responses will be provided and posted for everyone’s review.
5. Concern regarding the evaluation of Past Performance (Section 7 – Evaluation Criteria). The concern was only the incumbent contractor can satisfy the standards for relevancy, making it difficult for companies to compete on a level playing field.
Companies will not be downgraded if they have no CRM training past experience. However, they do need to provide some experience with aircrew classroom training and military courseware development.
