Questions and Answers
Solid State Amplifier
Question 1: Does amp need to operate from 48VDC? Or is this adjustable in the box?
Answer 1: Per Statement of Objectives the power supply should not exceed 48v DC.
Question 2: Is liquid cooling being provided by your customer?
Answer 2: The Government’s expectation is that the amplifier will have cooling integrated into it. Our Low Cost Emitter Demonstrator has no liquid cooling nor are we supplying it. The vendor needs to come up with a solution to provide an amplifier with internal cooling.
Question 3: You state on your specifications that the product should not exceed 20 lbs. Is this wet or dry?
Answer 3: Per Statement of Objectives no external cooling sources are required and weight should not exceed 20 lbs.
Question 4: What is the quantity?
Answer 4: One (1) Solid State Amplifier is required as indicated on page 3 of the SF‐1449.
Question 5: What is the estimated project quantity?
Answer 5: One (1) Solid State Amplifier is required as indicated on page 3 of the SF‐1449.
