About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for the "TOMMANIKIN – Water" (Part Number: 93-0108), a highly advanced medical training mannequin designed for immersive emergency medical simulation. The product features a submersion-ready design capable of operating continuously at depths up to 33 feet in fresh or salt water, with a powder-coated welded steel frame weighing 150-170 lbs. Key capabilities include an onboard compressor for realistic breathing, remote-controlled breathing and pulse rates, advanced airway support across 35 operation sites, and the ability to simulate complex medical scenarios like massive hemorrhage, wound configurations, and hemorrhage control drills.

The mannequin includes sophisticated technical specifications such as silicone skin enduring extreme temperature cycles, extensive environmental tolerance testing, and a 1.2-gallon sealed blood reservoir for controlled bleeding. Standard accessories include 12V NiMH batteries, a ruggedized NARS tablet for feature control, simulated blood concentrate, deployment bags, and a digital-pattern uniform. The system offers four specific wound configurations (gunshot wound to chest, abdominal evisceration, closed fracture arm, partial leg amputation) and comes with a 3-year warranty covering mechanical, electrical, and silicone components. The control interface allows instructors to manage bleeding, breathing, voice tracks, pulse rates, and simulate realistic responder intervention responses.
