The existing EMCS on base is the Talon Building Automation System manufactured and licensed by Siemens . The software is Niagara Tridium N4 (latest release). The network manager hardware is a Jace-8000 with LON, Staefa Smart II, Modbus and BACnet capability. All new hardware, software and system controller cards must integrate with Siemens JACE Network Managers and the existing Siemens Supervisor graphics server. New system controllers shall utilize the BACnet protocol. All new system components including, software, work stations, system controllers, JACE Network Managers must all meet Air Force approved industrial security standards and the Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements on the base. All Direct Digital Controls (DDC) components shall be provided in a secured control panel remotely installed from the equipment being controlled. No relays shall be allowed on the equipment. Only control wiring shall be installed on the equipment requiring DDC management. | |
