Text version
1. During the pre-bid meeting it was mentioned that the proposal is to include repairing and/or bringing the existing riser up to DM AFB Design Compatibility Guidelines. We found a copy of the current DMG but there isn’t any information about the details of the riser. Are you looking to change the unit in its entirety or just replace the components with new? We just need a clearer direction so we know how to bid this scope. Is there a detail you can provide?
0. User made the following comments: Gauge is missing prior to double check assembly. Piping before backflow preventer isn’t approved for potable water. Backflow preventer is too high to perform maintenance. Code requires installed less than 5’ from the ground. There is no forward flow test connection for the backflow preventer. Does not appear to be a #1 test cock on the device. Requesting entire riser to replaces with AMES 2000 SS to match the rest of the installation and to keep maintenance uniform.
1. If the facility will be occupied during the repairs, how many rooms will you allow us to work in in a given day?

1. what type K-Factor the specific heads are in order to correctly replace them.

4. Yes please replace 3218 Sprinkler heads as well as 3219 sprinkler heads. Please see SOW dated 1 June 2020
1. Some of the existing heads have worn the ceiling and wall surface/paint away. Will we be required to repair these surfaces?
