Questions and Government Responses 2

BTES Tech Support

FA4855-19-Q-A028

1. We see that an Amendment 1 was submitted into FBO after the Original Response Date: Sep 03, 2019 10:00 am Mountain meaning that all proposals should have been submitted before this amendment and any received after would not be eligible for award but the new Response Date is now Sep 04, 2019 10:00 am Mountain. Can you please clarify how this will work with late proposals? Also can you please confirm that the Amendment 1 Clauses that was released does not require any additional items if our original submission had the required paragraph (b) of the provision FAR 52.212-3 fill in completed?

Government Response: The amendment was to add clauses 52.217-8 “Option to Extend Services” and 52.217-9 “Option to Extend the Term of the Contract.” These clauses were left out of the original solicitation in error as this requirement does have option years and these clauses provide the Government authority to extend the terms of the contract each year. Additionally, the new response date is 04 September 10:00am MDT. I cannot confirm if this will change your original quote or not as that is up to your firm to deem necessary or not.
