1. Q. Do the bins stay?

A. Yes, the bins stay; only the contents will be removed.

2. Q. Will there be an extension on the bid?

A. No, there will not be an extension.

3. Q. Is this a mandatory site walk?

A. No, this is not a mandatory site walk.

4. Q. Will there be any more additions to the estimated workload after site walk?

A. No, there will not be additions after site walk.

5. Q. Are the quantities/weights capped by estimated quantities stated in PWS?

A. No, all quantities are estimated and will not be capped.

6. Q. Does it matter if items are sorted?

A. No, everything will need to be gone through.

7. Q. How much is commingled?

A. Most are BDU-33, 106’s, and rocket motors.

8. Q. What’s in this segregated bin?

A. 40mm shells, little bit of everything, plus dirt.

9. Q. What is the cubic yard of gray tilt bins?

A. 4.5 cubic yards.

10. Q. Are these brass bins added to quantities?

A. Yes, five (5) brass bins are added to quantities and weigh approximately 1900 lbs. when full.

11. Q. Will small arms follow OP5 or Navy direction?

A. All small arms will be inspected, mutilated, shredded, and or grinded into nothing.

12. Q. Has everything been cleared by EOD?

A. Yes, everything has been visually checked by EOD.

13. Q. Have vehicles been drained?

A. Yes, as well as radium dials been pulled.

14. Q. Do all of the cars go?

A. Yes, all of the cars go.

15. Q. Does the CONEX go?

A. Yes, the separate CONEX goes.

16. Q. Do the bins stay next to the CONEX?

A. Yes, the bins stay; only the contents will be removed.

17. Q. What happens when we encounter wildlife?

A. Notify COR immediately.

18. Can a hot work permit be obtained for MAFR?

A. Yes, on a case by case basis which is signed by Fire. Dept.

19. Q. Do these airplanes go?

A. Three (3) F4 airplanes will be included with procurement.

20. Q. Have the seats been cleared in the F4’s?

A. They should have been cleared prior to MAFR use.

21. Q. Will an attendee list be provided?

A. Not usually; however, questions and answers will be posted.
