Questions and Answers

1) Who is point of contact at Xcel for questions and specs?

CAFB will be the point of contact. Please see revised attachment no. 9 for revision that will not require coordination through Xcel Energy. Use contract medium voltage specifications and drawings in the solicitation.

2) Does high voltage switch need to be located outside the chain link Fence?

See attached revised attachment no. 9 and sheet OOE-01 for location of switches, outside of fence.

3) Can project date be extended for questions, answers, consultation time with Xcel, and bidding?

There will be no extension of the bid

4) Can circuits 10,11,12,x and Y be more defined on drawings and which equipment those circuits are located in?

Information is located on one-line on sheet OOE-02.

5) Is there a color preference on gear such as wheat penny color for switches and sectionalizers?

Wheat Penny is preferred.

6)Can details be provided for the backup generator truck/trailer that Xcel will be providing in an emergency condition, in particular the hook up attachments?

Not available. See attached revised Sheet Attachment no. 9 for details on medium voltage side work only. Use contract specifications for medium voltage connections.

7) Is there a preference or future intention for placement of equipment within the existing yard?

See revised attached no. 9 and drawing sheet OOE-01 for location.

8) Does sectionalizers need ground sleeves?

Refer to sheet OOE-07 for ground requirements and specifications.
