About this file

This is a Questions and Answers Matrix for solicitation FA483025Q0070 related to services at Moody Air Force Base. The document addresses inquiries from potential offerors regarding a degreaser/chemical treatment service for dining facilities.

Key details include: the incumbent contractor is Superior Water Services INC, which held contract FA483021C0003 valued at $116,391.84; the last service performance occurred on 24 February 2026. Approximately 6,000 personnel are assigned to and working at Moody AFB Monday through Friday, with meal service volumes fluctuating daily. All current equipment, including pumps and 5-gallon containers, is provided by the incumbent contractor. The estimated annual chemical usage is 600 gallons, and chemicals must be non-hazardous enzyme treatment only, meeting HAZMART requirements. Subcontracting is permitted for on-site servicing. Offerors are not responsible for cleaning clogged drains—that responsibility remains with Civil Engineering (CE)—though the contractor's degreaser should help minimize grease accumulation over time. If the incumbent wins the contract, equipment replacement is not required.
