Solicitation FA483025Q0004: Protestant Music Director
Questions and Answers
1. Is there an incumbent? If so, could you provide the name?
Yes, there is a current incumbent. Dream Reality Records Inc., working under contract
FA483020C0002.
2. Are there any additional background checks or base access requirements we should be aware of? (CAC/PIV access required, escort?)
For access to base, you will be required to file a base pass for the visitor’s center managed by Security Forces. A blank copy has been added to the solicitation. Refer to attachment 6.
3. Are the holiday services (Christmas, Easter, etc) pre-scheduled or will the music director be responsible for that?
Expect there to be a Christmas Eve service and an Easter Sunrise service. The Protestant Chaplain in charge of the Protestant worship service will handle logistics of the service. The Protestant music director will need to organize and coordinate music for the services.
4. What is the process for submitting CTOF? (Chapel Tithes and Offering Fund)
1) Fill out a AF4356 Purchase Request as Requester.
2) Give the AF4356 to the Chaplain in Charge of the Protestant worship service.
3) Approval is routed by the appointed individuals.
4) Once approved, the CTOF Account Manager contacts the Requester notifying them of the approval and that they are to clear to make the purchase.
5) Once purchase is made, receipts are turned in the to CTOF Account Manager for record keeping.
5. Are there any specific training or onboarding requirements?
No other requirements. Training on the sound equipment is helpful, but optional.
6. Are there any pre-existing technical issues with the chapels Audio/Visual equipment that we should know about beforehand?
The Audio/Visual equipment is relatively new. The projector in the Sanctuary is in the process of being replaced. Chapel staff can help with training individual on A/V use.
