About this file

This document is a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) file for an Air Traffic Control (ATC) Camera Installation project at Moody Air Force Base. The FAQ covers detailed technical specifications and installation requirements for two separate camera surveillance systems: one for the ATC tower (Building 1300) and another for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in Building 1506. Key requirements include installing 2 cameras at the ATC tower (one at first-floor entryway, one at tower cab entryway) and 3-4 cameras at the SCIF, with mandatory 4K resolution, no wifi connectivity, and hardwired installation. The system must include an NVR, monitors, and all necessary cabling, with a five-year warranty. Installation will be conducted Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with contractors always escorted, and a site visit scheduled for February 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST. The project is issued by the 23rd Contracting Squadron at Moody AFB, Georgia, with a lowest-price, technically-acceptable evaluation approach, and contractors must submit proposals addressing both locations with clear pricing delineation.
