Text version

This attachment contains questions and answers regarding this Request for Quote (RFQ). This document does not change the terms in the solicitation unless provided by amendment to the RFQ.

Q: Will the Air Force be providing the software necessary to download the data, or do we need to acquire it separately?

A: Software for downloading and/or manipulating the data from the monitors will be provided by the contractor.

Q: In the event of a monitor's breakdown, the SOW says the equipment will be sent in for repair. With no additional units to install in the event of a malfunction, do you need us to rent another unit and return to the site (loosing only a day or two), or loose the two months of data collection? or return to the site to replace the unit once repaired thus loosing less time?

A: The government does not have spare units in inventory. If a unit breaks down and requires repair, data collection for that site will have to be suspended until repairs are complete.

Q: There is no discussion of weather. This contract is year long. Equipment can be damaged by frost, hurricanes, tornados, or other weather events. Will emergency trips to check the condition of the equipment be determined by Moody AFB and then a change order issued for an additional site visit?

A: Additional visits due to weather damage are not currently allocated for at this time. The contractor will not be held responsible for weather damage or resulting data loss.
