About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Heavy Duty Vehicle Lifts procurement. The Q&A provides specific technical details about the vehicle lift installation requirements, including concrete thickness (6 inches), facility ceiling height (24 feet 8 inches), electrical specifications (3-phase, 208-230V), and mounting type (surface mounted). The document addresses vendor questions about track length, with flexibility for a 30-foot track if it maintains the original 48-foot total length and 12-inch vehicle clearance. Safety switch requirements are clarified to ensure synchronized lift movement and prevent crushing during lowering. The Q&A serves as a supplemental technical clarification document for potential bidders on the vehicle lift procurement.
