[Questions and Answers] Short answer for question 8-12: Prime contractor will be responsible for all delivery, set-up, operation, maintenance, tear-down, and removal. Longer answers are below.
8. Will turnkey service be required?
Answer: YES
9. Will the Government have personnel on site who can install the equipment and unload?
Answer: NO, this is a stand-alone contract. We may have personnel available on the day of set-up to learn how to program or reset in case of emergency, but the contract is a turn-key service to include delivery, set-up, operation, maintenance, tear-down, and removal.
10. If not, will the prime contractor be responsible for everything from start to finish?
Answer: That is correct, responsible for everything from start to finish.
11. Would it be possible to get a one-day pass for installation and removal?
Answer: We can escort you since we want to expedite the installation and do not want to wait for the DBIDS background check to be done.
12. I can provide the required equipment and monitoring services, but currently I do not have the personnel to install the equipment on base. Can you provide more clarification of how this can be accomplished?
Answer: We will escort you on base and can show you the locations for the work.
Install is projected to take one day with minimal impact to traffic flow.
