About this file
This document is a Contractor Questions and Government Responses attachment for federal solicitation FA480326Q0077 concerning the B1997 RAPCON Security System project.
The project requires installation of a new CCTV and electronic access control system. For access control, the contractor must provide two Powerplex Mortise Locks with Deadbolts (DORMAKABA Part P2067BLL-626-41) for doors 108 and 112, along with an access controller and power supply to enable remote unlocking from room 103. The contractor is responsible for determining whether release buttons integrate with the access control system or connect directly to a power supply trigger. For the CCTV component, the contractor must install five POE cameras: two 180-degree or higher outdoor cameras (mounted at approximately 12 feet on brick exterior, requiring 80-foot and 40-foot cable runs respectively) and three interior line-of-sight cameras (mounted at 7 feet in hallways and 4-5 feet at door locations, requiring 25-30 foot cable runs). The contractor must program all cameras for live-view-only display on a government-supplied 65-inch Samsung monitor via HDMI connection; no NVR, recording capability, or video retention period is required. The contractor is responsible for providing all POE connections and cabling, as no network ports are available at camera locations. Existing conduit is available for interior camera runs in rooms 112 and 119, but exterior cameras require direct penetration through the brick building exterior.
