Project Name: Painting and Protective Coating Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ)

Description:

The 20th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit a firm-fixed price construction contract for

Painting and Protective Coating. The resulting award will be an Indefinite-Quantity Indefinite-

Delivery contract. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform interior and exterior painting, protective coating services and sign fabrication as defined in the solicitation Statement of Work

(SOW), except as specified in Section 3 as government furnished property and services, at Shaw

AFB, Wateree Recreation Area and Poinsett Weapons Range, SC. Projects under the IDIQ will be awarded by individual task orders on an as needed basis. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated contract magnitude for this acquisition is (f) between

$1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The requirement will be acquired utilizing procedures under FAR

Part 14 - Sealed Bidding and FAR Part 36 - Construction and Architect -- Engineer Contracts.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238320 and the size standard is $19,000,000. THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING ISSUED AS A

COMPETITIVE SERVICE-DISABLED VERTERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS

(SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE, AND WILL RESULT IN THE AWARD OF A SINGLE, FIRM-

FIXED-PRICE CONTRACT. The solicitation will be available electronically on SAM.gov on or about 29 January 2024. Work will be provided under multiple firm-fixed price task orders issued as provided in the parent Requirements contract. During the contract period, the 20th

Contracting Squadron will issue individual task orders to the contractor to complete specified jobs.

The performance period for each project will be specified on each individual task order.

The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, and equipment necessary to manage and successfully accomplish each project.

The contract period will be for a one-year base period with a potential to award an additional four (4) one-year option periods. The Government reserves the right not to exercise the option year periods. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents from the internet at the above website. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. Hard copies will not be available. Award shall be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this solicitation. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. Prospective offerors must be registered in the

System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is https://sam.gov/content/home. Lack of registration in SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. When the solicitation is downloaded, it is important to read the solicitation completely, as there are terms and conditions that must be met by the prospective offeror for the bid to be considered responsive.
