About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a furniture relocation contract at Fort Eustis, VA. The solicitation, issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, seeks a vendor for relocating various office furniture items including workstations, chairs, shelves, and electrical components. Key contract details include a 21-calendar day performance period, with potential for earlier completion, and a site visit scheduled for March 4, 2025, at Building 662. The government will pay the contractor within 30 days of work completion, and both prime and subcontractors are responsible for providing moving and packing materials.

Critical requirements include having a licensed electrician for disassembling and reassembling furniture with electrical components, and the ability to work evenings and weekends with advance coordination. The solicitation is a lowest-price technically acceptable procurement, with quotes due by March 11, 2025. The site is currently under construction, and there is no incumbent moving services provider. Potential vendors must submit a visitor pass request by March 3, 2025, and come prepared with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the site visit.
