About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the 633rd Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, seeking market research for a 5000-gallon self-contained aboveground tank to support jet refueling operations. The RFI is targeted at companies capable of providing wrist-worn physiological tactical wearable devices with individual and team analysis data capabilities, with a NAICS code of 332420 for Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge) Manufacturing. The current 1,000-gallon tank is in poor condition, leading to extended maintenance timelines and aircraft downtime, prompting the need for a larger capacity tank to improve refueling efficiency.

Responses are due electronically by 10 September 2025 at 1700 EST, with interested companies asked to review the draft Statement of Requirement, provide feedback using industry-wide terminology, confirm if a two-week quote preparation period is sufficient, and submit any additional relevant considerations. The RFI emphasizes that this is a market analysis exercise only, with no contract awards forthcoming, and all response costs will be borne by the participating companies. Primary and secondary points of contact are Craig Gooden (Contract Specialist) and Margaret Young (Contracting Officer), with contact information provided for submissions.
