About this file
This document is a vendor questions and answers file for a federal contract opportunity to install a CCTV camera and access control system at Anderson Field House, Fort Eustis. The project requires installing 30 cameras (23 fixed, 7 PTZ), with key specifications including IP-based cameras, dome-style cameras, 24/7 recording, 12-day video retention, and an access control system supporting both CAC and proximity cards. The system will integrate with SmartNet VMS platform and require monitoring at the Field House front desk and an off-site base location.
Specific technical details include using Cat5e wiring strapped to existing conduit, removing old analog infrastructure, installing cameras to eliminate interior blind spots (excluding restrooms/locker rooms), and providing monitors. The contractor is responsible for the locksmith quote, access cables, and using NDAA-approved cameras. The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, with quotes due July 23, 2025, and an expected contract validity through September 30, 2025. The award will be made on a "Best Value" basis in accordance with FAR Part 13 procedures.
