About this file

The document is a Questions and Answers file for a Pontoon Boat solicitation (FA4800-25-Q-A037) issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command. The Q&A provides clarification on specific boat requirements, including confirmation that a 2025 model pontoon boat is acceptable, flexibility on boat length (20-24 inches), and acceptance of alternative flooring materials like engineered vinyl instead of carpet.

Key specifications discussed include a minimum 11-person seating capacity, motor requirements (Yamaha, Mercury, or Suzuki 90 HP are acceptable), and confirmation that the boat will be used for both family recreation and fishing purposes. The solicitation seeks to purchase one pontoon boat with a trailer, with pricing and processing fees to be included in the quote. The government appears flexible on some technical details while maintaining core requirements for boat size, capacity, and functionality.
