About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document relating to an air duct cleaning project for Building 763 at an Air Force facility. The Q&A clarifies that no cutting into hard surfaces (walls/ceilings) is required, as all ductwork is located in drop tile or open ceilings. There are no testing or air monitoring requirements beyond visual inspection, and the scope is limited to cleaning only, with no repairs or replacements required.

The document reveals there are no existing drawings for building 7634 and no records of previous duct cleaning at these locations. Regarding duct specifications, the ductwork inside the building with the drop tile ceiling is externally wrapped, while the ductwork at the main two units inside the mechanical room has interior lining. This contract opportunity is being managed by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command under solicitation number FA480025QA020.
