The following are questions posed by interested party(s) and the answers provided along with coordination through the Fort Eustis Chapel.

Questions:

1. Is the rehearsal on a schedule as well? Is it directly before the service,or during the week? Is it one hour in length?

2. The service on Sundays is only one hour length as well right?

3. Does special service include anything other than holidays?

4. What are the instruments available at the chapel?

5. What is the schedule of the weekly service and rehearsal?

6. Will the chaplain fund the CCLI certification of the music Sheets? Are the music sheets available for use at the chapel? Should the musician need to know how to sight-read music?

Answers:

1. The rehearsal schedule will be discussed with the awarded contractor but usually during the week because Sundays are busy with setting up multiple services at one chapel. Normally one hour but it is not fixed as some music can be easier for one week than the others.

2. The service on Sundays is normally between 1 and 1.5 hours. Due to the unique nature of its gathering and different speakers during services, the length varies but not over 1.5 hours.

3. Special service also includes funeral/memorial ceremony that can happen any day, however we always negotiated schedule with the contractor based on the availability in the past.

4. There are a pipe organ and piano

5. Current service schedule: Catholic mass at 0930 and Traditional Protestant at 1100 (time may change temporarily due to COVID restriction)

6. The chapel funds the CCLI annually. Sight reading is very important since there can be last minute changes during services.
