Response to Vendor Questions FA480020Q0003
Question: Can you confirm that on p.3 of the PWS that the fittings are not Crouse-Hinds explosion proof fittings but are only "weather proof and rated for outdoor use"
Response: The requirement for fittings is as written per PWS. If there is an explosion proof suitable equivalent that is weather proof and rated for outdoors within same cost parameters that would be acceptable.
Question: Will the bird netting need to be removed to install the new conduit?
Response: There is a possibility the netting will have to be removed, that would be up to the contractor to determine if they can work around it.
Please note all quotes are due 13 Mar 20 /1600. Refer to FA480020Q0003P00002.
