LEGEND OF TERMS
CATHOLIC WORSHIP: Roman Catholic Mass is used with the missal; The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the world largest Christian church, claiming over a billion members around the world.[1] Its spiritual head is the Pope. The Church sees its mission as spreading the gospel of Christ, administering its sacraments and exercising charity. The Catholic Church is one of the oldest religious institutions in the world and has played a prominent role in the history of Western civilization. Music is either through direction of missal, liturgical in style and often includes chants.
COMMUNITY SERVICE: A traditional worship service found typically in churches with a liturgical worship style, a blended worship service (i.e. Protestant traditional: Christian Hymns and contemporary worship praise chorus music styles).
CONTEMPORARY SERVICE: is a form of Christian worship that emerged within Western evangelical Protestantism in the twentieth century. It was originally confined to the charismatic movement, but is now found to varying extents in a wide range of churches, including many that do not subscribe to a charismatic theology. Contemporary worship is generally characterized by the use of contemporary worship music in an informal setting. Congregational singing typically comprises a greater proportion of the service than in conventional forms of worship. Where contemporary worship is practiced in churches with a liturgical tradition, elements of the liturgy are frequently kept to a minimum. The terms historic worship, traditional worship or liturgical worship are sometimes used to describe conventional worship forms and distinguish them from contemporary worship. Christian praise and worship music with praise band.

CONTRACT TITLE: Project title of work performed
CONTRACT VALUE: Contract/purchase order total dollar value, including all modifications and options GOSPEL WORSHIP: Is primarily found in Military Chapels. This tradition was created to offer an alternative expression of worship for believers not served by traditional Protestant worship. The Gospel and the style in which it is preached is a hallmark of the Gospel congregation tradition, found primarily in African American Churches. A common theme of most Gospel music is praise. The Gospel Service includes, but is not limited, a combination of Africa American Church traditions, such as; African Methodist Episcopal, Church of God in Christ, National Baptist, American Baptist etc. Music include anthems, Negro spirituals, traditional and contemporary gospel music, praise music, Gospel music theory, vocal harmony, music arrangements practiced within the African American Church culture, both traditionally and Contemporary Gospel music.

Definitions for Contemporary and Catholic Worship are not official definitions or intended to define Air Force Worship as a whole, but intended only to provide a general description for those unfamiliar with worship service needs at Ellsworth AFB.
D. PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
The Air Force will use your survey responses to determine a level of confidence, based on the offeror’s past performance record, concerning the offeror’s ability to successfully perform our requirement in accordance with the contract. Please assign the following performance level codes to each of the questioned areas listed below based on the contractor’s performance at your organization or installation. The confidence codes selected will indicate the degree of doubt concerning performance in each area.
