About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) log for a Fan Servicing and Maintenance contract (Solicitation Number FA468625Q0019) issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command. The RFI addresses several key vendor questions, revealing critical project details: the contract is a new project with no incumbent, has a 30-calendar-day completion timeline, and requires work during Monday-Friday hours (0730-1500), excluding federal holidays and specific base days.

Key operational requirements include the vendor providing their own lift equipment, understanding potential project impact days on 23 and 26 May 2025, and preparing for potential parts lead times. The government has not specified the exact model numbers of fans needing repairs, but clarified that base access and parts acquisition time will not count against the 30-day project completion window. Currently, no site visit is scheduled, though the government may consider one if multiple vendors express interest.

RFI Question Answer

Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.

I need clarification, it looks like the duration of the project is 30 days and the hours are full 8 hour shifts monday- friday, is that correct?

Hello i am reaching out to see about a site visit for this project? will there be one or can I schedule one? thanks.

Is there a lift on-site that can be used?

Base access lead time and parts lead time may be an issue if counted into the 30 days.

What models are the two fans that are known to have issues?

The amount of time it takes to get base access and parts will not count against the 30 days alloted to complete the work. Additionally, we understand there may be a lead time for parts, the expectation is for the parts lead time to be provided and repairs to occur once parts arrive.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the exact model numbers that need repairs.

Fan Servicing and Maintenance - RFQ FA468625Q0019

Currently there is no incumbent and this is not a recompete

The contractor will have 30 calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP) to complete the project.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 0730-1500.

Work is not to be scheduled on Federal Holidays or 9 RW/ACC Family Days.

- Potential days impacted will be 23 May 2025 and 26 May 2025.

Currently there is no site visit date for this. If a determination is made at a later time that more vendors are interested in a site visit this may be considered. Please let us know if you have more specific questions regarding the area, location, access, etc. Thanks!

We do not have a lift that can be used. The vendor must provide this.
