About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document dated November 25, 2024, for solicitation FA468625Q0003 regarding Air Show Entry Screening Equipment for a 2025 air show at Beale Air Force Base. The Q&A addresses four key areas: power requirements (110V power outlets are available within 250 feet of each Entry Control Point), staffing needs (26 personnel total across 3 Entry Control Points), staff responsibilities (personnel needed for setup, teardown, and troubleshooting), and equipment specifications.

The document clarifies that while Evolv walk-through screening devices were mentioned, other devices with equivalent capabilities are acceptable. Key equipment requirements specify that the screening device must allow personnel to pass through without removing belongings from pockets, and must be able to alert on specific individuals while identifying the location of suspicious items. This Q&A supplements the main solicitation which seeks security screening equipment for an air show scheduled for June 6-8, 2025.
