Solicitation # : FA4686-12-R-0006
Statement of Work for: Remove Rubber & Paint, Restripe Airfield, BAEY 040073
I. GENERAL SCOPE:
A. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, operations and incidentals as required to remove airfield rubber and paint, and paint airfield markings and lines at Beale AFB. Work shall be accomplished as listed below in accordance with the contract documents. Location is shown on attached plans and also will be indicated in the field by Beale AFB personnel to the contractor.
B. All work on the airfield must occur after hours (12am to 8am M-F), on weekends, and/or when there is no flying scheduled. Per the specifications, the contractor must closely coordinate with airfield management and plan his schedule accordingly. The contractor must attend a Flightline Driving course given by Beale personnel before driving on the airfield. The contractor must be escorted in restricted areas designated by red lines.
C. All contractor vehicles must enter the base via the Wheatland Gate and be subject to inspection. All contractor personnel must obtain base passes.
D. A performance period later given should be ample time to complete this project.
II. WORK ITEMS:
1. Repair/Patch AC Pavement on airfield shoulders after hours, multiple locations, including sawcutting, excavation, disposal, layout, aggregate base, and all associated work and coordination- approximately 1000 SY, item 0029.
2. Fee for administration, coordination, dig permit, for this delivery order (QTY 1, Item # 0109).
3. Mobilize equipment on low bed trucks (QTY 4 each, Item # 0110).
4. Furnish & place white reflective paint on airfield after hours, including runway markings, numbers, beads, traffic lanes, layout, clean-up, and all associated work and coordination- approximately 25,000 SF, item 0111.
5. Furnish & place yellow reflective paint on airfield after hours for taxiway lines, including beads, layout, clean-up, and all associated work and coordination- approximately 50,000 SF, item 0113.
6. Remove runway rubber deposits from airfield concrete surfaces after hours, including disposal, coordination, testing, and clean-up., and all associated work and coordination- approximately 124,000 SF, item 0114.
7. Remove paint markings and lines from airfield concrete surfaces after hours, including disposal, coordination, testing, and clean-up., and all associated work and coordination- approximately 2500 SF, item 0126.
