About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document for a Power Pusher contract opportunity.
The procurement is for an electrically powered bomb loader pusher to be delivered to Building 9304 at Dyess Air Force Base, 7 CONS/PKB 381 Third Street, Dyess AFB, TX 79607. The equipment will push bomb loaders measuring 15 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 10 feet tall, with weights up to 20,000 pounds. The operating environment consists of asphalt and concrete surfaces with approximately a 2-degree slope and a ½-inch to 1-inch lip at the building entrance. The buyer initially specified a sealed, maintenance-free gel-type battery but confirmed acceptance of lithium-ion battery technology to support the requirement for up to 6 hours of continuous operation, which better aligns with operational needs than traditional gel batteries.
