About this file

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the 7th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) Armory Equipment Relocation at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The Department of the Air Force is seeking a contractor to disassemble, relocate, and reassemble high-density mobile shelving systems and 76 Universal Weapons Racks from Building 4201 to Building 7232. The solicitation is a small business set-aside with a $34.0 million size standard, using a Firm-Fixed Price contract mechanism.

Key details include a site visit scheduled for 29 July 2025, with a deadline for questions on 31 July 2025 and offers due by 8 August 2025. Contractors must submit an itemized quote, technical approach, and proposed delivery schedule, with a desired delivery timeframe of 30 calendar days after contract date. Evaluation will be based on technical acceptability, proposed delivery period, and price. Payment terms are NET 30, and the government will consider the offer FOB Destination. The relocation is necessitated by the planned demolition of the current armory building in fiscal year 2025.
