Solicitation FA465424Q0008 Grissom ARB Shop Rags Service - Laundry/Lease:
Questions & Answers
Q: We have noticed that shop rags that are contaminated with chemicals and oil material, should be laundered weekly. The reason is that when shop rags sit in a closed container for two long, they become combustible. We have had these rags catch fire in our customers shop and in our trucks during the delivery. Would week laundering be something Grissom ARB might require?
A: No. We have never had an issue with rags catching fire. We do not often use highly flammable materials.
Q: Could you please confirm whether you require new rags with each delivery or if laundered rags are acceptable?
A: Laundered rags are preferred.
