About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file related to a projector installation project. The Q&A addresses several key technical and logistical details, including scaffolding/lift requirements (to be handled by 341 WOC during installation), availability of Crestron control codes (uncompiled codes will be usable to the awarded vendor), and system configuration details. The government indicated that wiring diagrams are not necessary, as the new projectors are intended to be "plug and play", and Crestron controllers are located at work stations 9, 10, and 19.

The document also reveals that the government will not extend the current solicitation due date, citing timeline constraints. Vendors are directed to reference Part I, Section 1 of the posted Statement of Objectives for additional project details, specifically regarding room dimensions and projector installation environment. The Q&A suggests this is a technical refresh or replacement project involving projector systems with integrated Crestron control infrastructure.

Questions Answers Can the unit the help with scaffolding/lift or do we need to factor one in?

341 WOC will take care of this when install is scheduled.

Will you consider extending the due date to Wednesday, September 17th, to allow time for vendors to review the Q&A once posted?

No, timeline constraints prevent extension of due dates.

Does the Government have all UNCOMPILED Crestron control code available for adjustment should there be any issues with the system after the new projectors are installed?

Uncompiled codes will be usuable to awarded vendor.

Crestron controllers are at work stations 9, 10 and 19. Will have to get more clarification here.

Are there complete system wiring schematics to ensure the vendor knows what they are going to be working with once onsite?

No, but the intent is to be plug and play with the new projectors so need for wiring diagrams should be minimal.

Can a room diagram with dimensions or a picture of where the projectors are currently installed be provided so the vendor understands what the environment where the projectors are located is like?

Please see Part I, Section 1 - Overview of the posted Statement of Objectives.
