1Please clarify if any materials on the walls need to be demolished. For example rubber base, tile, etc.Approximately 75 linear feet of 4” rubber cove base will have to be removed and replaced on drywall surfaces only, not the tiled surfaces. See para 3.1 and 3.3 of PWS.
2Who will be removing the existing fixtures in the restrooms for the installation of the new flooring?The toilets are wall mount, the only thing the contractor will have to deal with is the stall divider floor mounts.
3What flooring is existing in the work areas?Combination linoleum sheet flooring and VCT tile at entry.
4Can a site visit be scheduled for early next week?Yes, a site visit will be held on Tuesday, 30 April 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Please meet at Building 145, Room 305. If attending the site visit, please email viviana.castillo_ramirez@us.af.mil to request a CEAL by 2:00 pm 26 April 2024.
