Malmstrom Laundry Services: FA4626-21-Q-0001 Questions and Answers
Question # Question Answer
1 Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services?
This is a follow-on requirement. The contract was previously awarded to The National Laundry Company.
2 If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number? Contract: FA4626-16-D-0002
3 Provide better descriptions for the Logistics Readiness Squadron Laundry Service for example I need to know what color of mats and sizes.
Bid schedule and Performance Work Statement (PWS) updated in Amendment 0001 to reflect color and sizes.
How do we price shop towels, because along with the rental price industry norm is to also charge a deposit on the towels which is based on how many soiled ones get turned in.
The rental price should include the normall cost for wear and tear. If any items go missing or are ruined due to government negligence, the contractor should file a claim in accordance with FAR 33.2.
How do we price coveralls because some coveralls can go missing or get damaged? There is also a set up charge for new individuals. Also, how do we price cotton because is a commodity and the price is constantly changing.

8 How do we price 8" PT Prem 6 Roll because Paper is a commodity and the price is constantly changing.

11 How do we price mats, because rubber is a commodity and the price is constantly changing. The government cannot provide guidance on how to price a commodity. This is a fixed price contract, so the contract price of the individual items will not change with the market.
